Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order or using this website. By using this site or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms. These terms apply to all transactions on store.elcoanlanka.com.

1. About us

Elcoan Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is registered in Sri Lanka. Our business address is 338/A, Jayanthi Mawatha, Padukka (10500), Sri Lanka.

2. Placing an order

When you place an order on store.elcoanlanka.com, you are making an offer to buy the product at the price shown. An order is not confirmed until we send you an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to decline any order, including in cases where:

• A product is out of stock or no longer available.
• We are unable to verify payment.
• The order appears to contain errors in pricing or product information.
• We cannot fulfil delivery to your location.

All orders are subject to manual review for stock availability, delivery feasibility, payment confirmation, and technical clarification before final acceptance.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices on the site are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is required in full at the time of checkout. We support:

• Bank Transfer (Immediate)
• Online Payment via PayHere (To be implemented)
• Koko Payment (To be implemented)

We do not store your card details on our servers. Online payment processing will be handled securely by authorized third-party gateways.

4. Eligibility to purchase

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding purchase agreement under the laws of Sri Lanka, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian if required.

5. Delivery

We deliver across Sri Lanka using our delivery partner, Prompt Express.

• Delivery Time: Orders are typically delivered within 2 working days after dispatch.
• Weekend Orders: If you place an order on Friday, it will be received on Monday.
• Delivery Fees: Calculated at checkout based on package weight.
• Self-pickup: Available at our office location in Padukka. Please contact us in advance to arrange pickup.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, weather conditions, public holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.

6. Returns, refunds, and warranty

Returns are not accepted as a standard policy. Requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase, subject to review and approval. Items must be unopened, unused, and in original sealed packaging to be considered for return. A service or inspection charge may apply.

Faulty or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours after delivery. Please contact us with your order reference and details of the issue. Warranty applies to selected products only and covers manufacturing defects. Damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or external factors is not covered under warranty.

Passive and semiconductor electronic components, including but not limited to ICs, transistors, FETs, TRIACs, DIACs, IGBTs, SCRs, diodes, inductors, capacitors, resistors, bridge rectifiers, fuses, and similar components, are not covered under warranty.

All types of batteries, including AA, AAA, 18650, LiPo, Li-Ion, LiFePO4, and similar battery products, are also excluded from warranty coverage. However, if a battery is found to be defective or fails to function properly within 7 days of delivery, we may, at our discretion, provide a replacement or refund following our standard return and inspection process.

7. Intellectual property

All content on store.elcoanlanka.com, including product descriptions, guides, tutorials, blog posts, images, and branding, is the intellectual property of Elcoan Lanka (Pvt) Ltd unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. Our liability

We are not liable for:

• Any loss or damage caused by using products purchased from us outside their intended purpose.
• Damage to third-party hardware or software resulting from the use of our products.
• Loss arising from incorrect product selection by the customer.
• Consequential, indirect, or economic loss of any kind.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version shown on the site at the time of your order will apply to that order.

11. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
